I KNOW THERE'S A CAT AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE
Pastel and Colored Pencil on paper
16 x 20
Squirrels are a hoot. They are like little comedians in fur coats and they always seem to me to be
a little paranoid and startled when you stop to watch them, especially in the Fall during the time when they gather and bury
acorns. The little dudes don't know it but their fears are unwarranted. The threat of thievery might
be from the intentions of other squirrels, but for most people and other animals as well, squirrels are welcome to as
many nuts as they can drag away. The trees are always happy to make more.
