The color of the light in the morning is generally cool and in the evening it turns into warm tones of color.  When I visited the Alhambra Palace near Granada, Spain the group I was traveling with arrived early enough to miss the large groups that usually arrive later in the morning.  We were greeted by the sun illuminating this paved path through the gardens.
