My Arabian mare April Storm had a beautiful head, with clear intelligent eyes and a delicate bone structure.  In addition to her beauty, she had an engaging personality to match and was themost personable horse that I've ever had the privilege to be around.  Above all she liked to be the center of attraction at all times and couldn't stand for anyone to be near her stall without taking time to pet her. 

 

Everyone knew April, and she had the ability to charm both adults and children.  She could be spirited, especially in her youth, but I never considered her tempermental as some Arabians are apt to be.  She was, as far as I am concerned, the perfect horse, but all horse owners are inclined to offer their own animals for that title.  I miss her.
