This cat lives in the gardens of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. He came out to greet our group as we arrived early one morning at the Alhambra, or perhaps he was
simply on his way from place to place in search of his breakfast. I wondered if he was aware of what a princely cat
he was to live in the same place that Kings and Caliphs once called their own.
"Alhambra", by the way, means 'the red fortress' and refers to the color of the stone.
